Canoeing & Supping

Weerribben-Wieden is the largest uninterrupted peat bog area in Northwest Europe. It developed through peat excavation and reed growing. This means the area is rich in waterways. The landscape is like a mosaic of ditches, waterways, large and small lakes, reedbeds, meadows and marshes. All this makes the area perfect for canoeing or supping through the reedbeds.
